Spotted: Fiona Shaw, Austin

Today I fucking saw (and sort of stalked) Fiona Shaw.

I didn't really stalk her. My sister and I are out walking around downtown and South Austin. We were on Congress and we crossed over Barton Springs. In front of us are these three people. One of them is a tall British lady. My sister says, "that lady's British." I, seeing just a tiny bit of her face, say "that's aunt Petunia." I didn't actually think it was her, but when she turned a little we were like "OH MY GOD!!!" I didn't talk to her cause I'm chicken. But were happened to be walking the same way. She was very close to us for a good twenty minutes, and was in our sight for about forty minutes. Hearing Fiona Shaw speak is the most amazing thing. Maybe it's just me because I have a thing for British actors, although she is actually Irish. We could hear a lot of what she was saying, speaking in that wonderful accent. I felt like I was listening to her rehearse lines. She talked briefly about Juilliard, and other stuff related to the arts. My thoughts are still kind of scrambled. In short, today I got to listen to a very relaxed and seemingly down to earth Fiona Shaw talk about the arts, travel and the art of acting with her accent at a very close range. By the way, she's beautiful up close. Her face is strange and beautiful. She's kinda skinny too. I snapped a few far away pictures. She's very talkative, as one would expect of an actor. Life is good.

In case you haven't figured it out, I love Fiona Shaw.

Spotted: Tiger Woods, Austin

Last year (2007) in October I believe. I was on the bus on Congress Ave. on my way to school (college). I looked out the window and saw this really cute guy. But when he turned more to me I realized it wasn't a cut guy it was Tiger Woods. That's not to say he isn't attractive (he actually looked quite good in the suit he was wearing), he just wasn't some random person. He looked like he meant business. He was walking along two other guys also in suits that looked fresh from the shop. Tiger Was very cheery, smiling the whole time I saw him.
